Welcome
Camp in the largest Fever Tree forest or on the banks of the breathtaking Mugano Lagoon. Have a cold beer and a picnic in the mighty Limpopo River.
Situated only 8km from the Pafuri border post in the Limpopo Transfrontier National Park, Moçambique.
Camping
With wild animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Hippo, Leopard and Lion roaming freely, our camps are some of the wildest on the continent. One can expect big shady trees, ablutions with hot and cold showers and a wild experience.
Self catering
In the beginning our thoughts were to save the traveller putting up camp by offering an overnight stop-over. We have now realised that our self catering tents are becoming a destination.
Out and about
Witnessing the sheer power and size of the Limpopo river or bumping into a herd of Buffalo, we are always closer to nature on foot.
As for the birdlife, the Pafuri area is the best known area in Southern Africa. With more than 450 species, guests can expect to see the Pel’s Fishing Owl, and many other rare species.
Fishing
The Mugano lagoon is fed underground from the Limpopo river, creating a 1,2km long and 60m wide water pocket ideal for catch & release. Big Tiger Fish, Barbel and Tilapia are local residents.
